Telangana lawyers and activists staged a protest at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad, welcoming the Justice Sri Krishna Committee with slogans demanding that the panel go back to Delhi. Agitators say they are not interested in any committee and that they just want a separate state for Telangana to be formed.

There are protestors outside Lake View Guest House as well, including members of the Telangana JAC and students as well. Some were arrested by police.
