5 Lakh For Family Of US Shooting Victim Chandrasekhar
Ministers Sridhar Babu and Adluri Laxman Kumar assured the family of all possible other support from the government, including a job for his brothers.

Ministers Sridhar Babu and Adluri Laxman Kumar today paid their respects to the mortal remains of Pole Chandrasekhar, who tragically lost his life in a recent shooting incident in the United States.
The ministers visited his residence at Teachers Colony, B N Reddy Division, Hyderabad, today to offer condolences and express their sympathy to the bereaved family.
They assured the family of all possible support from the government and urged them to stay strong during this difficult time. On behalf of the State government, an ex gratia payment of Rs 5 lakh was announced for the family.
They also assured the family that employment opportunities would be provided to the deceased's brothers according to their qualifications, either in the private sector or through outsourcing channels.
The victim, 28-year-old Pole Chandrasekhar, had relocated to the United States in 2023 to pursue a master's degree at the University of North Texas. After completing his studies, he was reportedly working part-time at a gas station in Denton to sustain himself while seeking full-time employment. Unfortunately, he tragically died on October 3 when a 23-year-old man named Richard Florez opened fire unprovokedly at him at the gas station, resulting in his immediate death.
