Senior Congress leader and MLC Paladugu Venkata Rao, on Tuesday, expressed confidence that senior Congress leaders will be able to use their experience to good effect and handle any eventuality arising out of the submission of the Justice Srikrishna Commission report on the situation in the State in the end of December this year.
Paladugu told media persons at the CLP office that Congress leaders like Chief Minister K Rosaiah, Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas, Union Minister for Urban Development S Jaipal Reddy and former chief minister Nadendla Janardhan Reddy would be able to handle the situation efficiently with their experience, in case a crisis emerges after the submission of the Commission's report.
He assured people that there would be no cause for worry about the predictions of dire consequences after the formation of a separate Telangana state.
He asked people not to believe rumours over the statehood, and also urged political leaders of all parties to not make harsh comments hurting the sentiments of people from the other regions and causing a law-and-order problem in the State.
He hoped the Srikrishna Commission would take a favourable decision respecting the aspirations and sentiments of all people over the statehood.
