Social Welfare Hostels, Study Circles To Be Improved
Minister Koppula Eshwar directed officials to provide better facilities and improve the standards in the social welfare hostels and study circles across the State.
Minister for Social Welfare Koppula Eshwar has directed the officials concerned to provide better facilities for the inmates and improve the standards in the social welfare hostels and study circles across the State.
Eshwar held a review meeting with the officials at his camp office on Thursday and discussed the facilities being provided by the government in the hostels and study circles.
Speaking on the occasion, Eshwar asked the officials to provide special arrangements for candidates preparing for competitive exams by staying in the study circles, and appoint separate coaching staff to give high quality coaching to the candidates.
"As the State government is allocating adequate budget for the study circles, special measures should be taken to give high quality coaching facilities to the inmates, and the focus should be on more candidates getting selected for Group 1 and 2 jobs," Eshwar said.
The minister also asked the officials to set up digital class rooms, water heaters run by solar energy and other facilities in the social welfare hostels, and complete all those works in a stipulated period.
Adding that groups of self-help women from Peddapalli and Jagtial districts were supplying high quality ingredients under the Sahaja brand, Eshwar asked the officials to consider supplying Sahaja items to all the hostels.
