Telangana Ready For Elections
3.26 crore voters in the 119 Assembly constituencies in Telangana will decide the fate of 2,290 candidates in the fray.

The stage is set for the Telangana Assembly elections to be held across the State on Thursday, November 30.
There are 3.26 crore voters in the 119 Assembly constituencies in Telangana. A total of 2,290 candidates are in the fray, and 35,356 polling centres have been set up across the State. Polling arrangements have been completed across the State, and around 1.85 lakh personnel are participating in election duties. Officials have completed the process of distribution of election material to the polling staff, and the polling personnel reached their respective polling centres by the evening today with the supplies.
Polling will be held from 7 am to 5 pm. Mock polling will be held at 5:30 am, 90 minutes before the start of polling.
As far as the arrangements for law and order are concerned, about 65,000 State police, 18,000 Home Guards and central forces of 375 companies are participating in election duties. 22,000 micro-observers and squads have been appointed for the observation of the polling centres, and authorities are making arrangements for webcasting in 27,094 polling stations. Security has been especially tightened near problematic polling stations.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his wife Shobha will exercise their rights to vote at his native village Chintamadaka in Siddipet district at 7:30 am on Thursday. BRS working president K T Rama Rao will cast his vote at the GHMC Community Hall in Nandi Nagar of Banjara Hills while MLC Kavitha will exercise her franchise at D A V Public School, Road No 14, Banjara Hills.
