TDP senior leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu today alleged that the Telangana irrigation projects were being constructed in such a way that they would cause gross injustice to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday, Naidu said that the TRS government was going ahead with the works on the projects without prior permission from the Central Water Resources Ministry.
He suggested that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao desist from making provocative statements and comments.
"Why is KCR not opposing the projects undertaken by the Karnataka and Maharashtra governments?" he also asked.
Naidu alleged that KCR was treating the Andhra Pradesh people as his enemies, and the people of Karnataka and Maharashtra as friends.
He also alleged that the Telangana government was conspiring to prevent water flow to the Rayalaseema region.
