The deadline for the submission of online applications for the Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) 2021 exam was today extended from June 11 to June 18 by the Telangana Board of Technical Education and Training.
In a press release on the matter, the board stated that applicants unable to register by June 18 could do so by June 20 after paying a late fee of Rs 100 or by June 22 after paying a late fee of Rs 300.
Applicants will be able to take the exam after completing their applications. The date of the entrance exam will be revealed closer to the date of the actual exam. The results of the same will reportedly be declared after ten days of the exam.
Talking about the extension of the application deadline, officials of the board explained that the decision had been taken to allow more students to enrol themselves for the exam.
Meanwhile, the state government recently
postponed the Intermediate 2021 practical examinations. The exams were originally to be held from May 29 to June 7, and have been postponed due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Board of Intermediate Education stated that the new schedule for the exams would be announced later in June, after an assessment of the pandemic situation. The schedule will be announced at least 15 days before the start of the exams.
