The schedule for the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2021 was announced today. The exam is taken by aspirants wishing to enrol in MBA and MCA courses in Telangana.
This year, the test will be conducted by Kakatiya University on August 19 and 20 at 60 centres across the state. The results of the same will be announced on September 17.
The schedule was released by Kakatiya University Controller of Examinations Prof S Mahender Reddy and TSICET 2021 convener Prof K Raji Reddy at the university.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahender Reddy said, "We are making all the necessary arrangements to conduct the exam in a hassle-free manner. The process for registration and submission of online applications will be started on April 7. The fee for the same is Rs 450 for SC/ST/differently-abled candidates and Rs 650 for all others. The last date for the registration and the submission of online applications without a late fee is June 15. Those who fail to submit their applications by the deadline will be charged the late fee in addition to the fee collected for the registration. Candidates can register and submit their online applications with a late fee of Rs 250 on or before June 30. Those who submit their applications on or before July 15 will have to pay a fine of Rs 500, and those who do so on or before August 11 will have to pay Rs 1,000."
Correction of already-submitted online applications will be allowed from August 8 to 11. Applicants will be able to download their hall tickets from August 13 onwards.
"The preliminary key will be announced on August 27 and candidates can submit their objections regarding the same till August 31. The final results will be announced on September 17," Mahender Reddy added.
The online application format, instructions, syllabus and model paper will be similar to previous TSICET papers. The qualifying percentage is 25% for all candidates other than SC and ST categories for whom there is no minimum qualifying grade.
