TS-EAMCET To Begin From August 4

This year's Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS-EAMCET) will be held from Wednesday (August 4).
Speaking on the matter, EAMCET-2021 Convenor Dr A Govardhan said that exam takers needed to report to their respective examination centres well ahead of time.
"We will not allow any latecomers to enter the examination hall. Even those who are a minute late will not be admitted into the hall. To avoid any such issues, all exam takers are requested to report to their designated centres two hours in advance," he warned.
"Students must also take every necessary precaution to protect themselves from Covid-19. They must sanitise their hands regularly and wear face masks," Govardhan added.
The convener also stated that the government had taken every possible measure to conduct the exam in a smooth and safe manner, and that all the relevant Covid-19 safety protocols would be followed at each exam centre.
This year, 2,51,606 candidates, including 1,64,962 engineering aspirants and 86,644 agriculture and medical stream aspirants, have registered for the EAMCET. A total of 105 test centres have been set up. A total of 105 test centres have been set up. Of these, 82 are in Telangana and the rest are in Andhra Pradesh. Covid positive students will be able to take the exam at a later date.
