Muslims Celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr With Fervour
With Covid restrictions no longer in place, the devout freely made their way to mosques to offer prayers with friends and family.

Muslims from across the State celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with pomp and fervour.
Mass prayers were held after a gap of two years, and almost all eidgahs wore festive looks. With Covid restrictions no longer in place, the devout freely made their way to mosques to offer prayers with friends and family. The happiness was palpable on the people's faces as they streamed out after the prayers and hugged their near and dear ones.
At the famous Mir Alam eidgah, Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and his party leaders offered prayers along with thousands of Muslims. Owaisi later greeted the crowds on the occasion, and scores of people vied with each other to shake hands with him.
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav visited the welfare grounds in Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad, where too thousands of Muslims offered prayers, and extended his best wishes to them. Later, the minister took part in the prayers at Nallagutta in the Ramgopalpet division, which falls under the Sanath Nagar Assembly constituency. Speaking on the occasion, he said that people from all sections were happy in Telangana, and that the TRS government was giving importance to all festivals.
The minister also reminded the people that the State government had distributed clothes to poor Muslims, and organised Iftar parties across the State during the Ramzan month.
Sanath Nagar TRS president Kolani Bal Reddy, local corporator Kurma Hemalatha and other leaders were present.
