Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today took part in the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations at the residence of Home Minister Mahmood Ali.
Upon the request of Mahmood Ali, the CM visited his residence in the city and joined the celebrations.
KCR received a grand welcome from Mahmood Ali and his family members.
The CM was accompanied by ministers Koppula Eshwar, Prashanth Reddy, Satyavathi Rathod and Puvvada Ajay Kumar; MPs Keshava Rao and Santosh Kumar; MLCs Kadiam Srihari, Madhusudhana Chary and Palla Rajeshwar Reddy; MLA Danam Nagender; GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi; former GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan; and other senior leaders.
On the occasion, the CM extended Eid-ul-Fitr wishes to Muslims in the State and across the country. He spoke of the importance of the festival and the prayers performed during the preceding month, and the promotion of the values of forgiveness, compassion and love.
The CM also extended his own Eid wishes to the religious heads who had come to extend their wishes to him.
Later, he joined the family members of Mahmood Ali and other guests for lunch.
