Municipal Elections: Komatireddy Campaigns In Pochampally

Congress leader and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today campaigned for the party's candidates in the Pochampally municipality for the upcoming Telangana municipal elections.

Addressing different gatherings, he urged the voters of the urban local body to vote for his party's candidates pointing out that it was the Congress that had given statehood to Telangana.

He also said that he had personally done his bit for the area - for example, he had raised the drinking problem issue of the residents of the municipality in Parliament and had urged the Central government to take steps to solve it as soon as possible. And he would continue to, he vowed - he promised that he would sanction funds from his MP quota for further development of the municipality. He said that he was also shocked to see that there were no CC roads in the 13th ward of the municipality, and that he would help with that, too.
