TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy today announced the PCC Election Committees which will oversee the Congress' preparations for the upcoming Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation and Khammam Municipal Corporation elections.
MLC Jeevan Reddy has been appointed the convenor of the PCC election committee for the Warangal Municipal Corporation while MLA Sridhar Babu has been made co-convenor. The 13-member committee also includes former PCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah and DCC President Nayani Rajender Reddy among others.
On the other hand, the 11-member Khammam committee will have as its convener TPCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar. CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, DCC president Durga Prasad, and former union ministers Renuka Choudhary and Balram Naik will also be part of the team.

related the schedule for the upcoming ULB elections to be held across 66 wards of the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation and 60 wards of the Khammam Municipal Corporation between 7 am and 5 pm on April 30, parties in Telangana have been busy preparing themselves for a hard electoral battle.
Apart from the two major municipal elections, polling will also be held in over 200 wards across the municipalities of Siddipet and Achampet in Nagarkurnool district, Jadcherla in Mahabubnagar district, Kothur in Rangareddy district and Nakrekal in Nalgonda district, and by-elections will be conducted in 30 divisions of different ULBs on the same day.
