Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Kodandaram alleges that TJAC leaders have been getting threatening phone calls ahead of the Chalo Assembly rally.
In the wake of the Chalo Assembly proposal, Telangana JAC leaders have been getting threatening calls, the TJAC chairman M Kodandaram has said.
The program has been scheduled to be launched on June 14, in order to intensify the ongoing demand for a separate Telangana state.
"Our leaders are getting threatening calls, and this is an attempt to scuttle the Chalo Assembly program. JAC leaders Pittala Ravindra and TNGO leader Deviprasad have received the calls," he said.
"Despite all hurdles, our Chalo Assembly will be carried out," he reiterated confidently. (INN)
