Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana in the next 48 hours, the meteorological centre in Hyderabad said today.
In a bulletin, it said that Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad and Rajanna Sircilla districts would receive heavy to very heavy rains in the next 48 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers were likely to occur at most other places in the State during the next five days, it added.
The southwest monsoon had been vigorous over Telangana during the last 24 hours, the met said.
Hyderabad continued to receive heavy rains for the second consecutive day today. According to the met, the city received average rainfall of 8 cm during the last two days.
