Rains: Red Alert For Kamareddy, Adilabad, Jagtial, Nizamabad
The IMD has warned the people of heavy rainfall, and gusty winds of 62 to 87 kmph accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, in these areas.

The Hyderabad centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued a red alert for Jagtial, Nizamabad, Kamareddy and Adilabad districts, warning the people in those areas of heavy rainfall, and gusty winds of 62 to 87 kmph accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.
An orange alert has been issued for Hanumakonda, Karimnagar, Medchal Malkajgiri, Medak, Nirmal, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Sangareddy, Siddipet and Warangal districts, where moderate rainfall is likely.
A yellow alert is in place for Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jangaon, Khammam, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mahabubabad, Mulugu, Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Suryapet, Vikarabad and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts. These regions may experience light rains along with gusty winds of up to 40 kmph.
Officials have been placed on alert following the IMD's warnings.
