Governor, CM Greet People On Sri Rama Navami
Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and CM K Chandrashekar Rao extended their wishes to the people of the State on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami on Sunday.
Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on Saturday extended her wishes to the people of the State on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami on Sunday.
The Governor said, "I extend my heartiest wishes to all on the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami. The celestial kalyana mahotsavam of Sri Rama with His consort Sita is celebrated on this holy occasion, and we get inspiration for a holistic living as Lord Rama is dharma incarnate. On this happy and auspicious occasion, I extend my warmest greetings to the people of the State."
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao too extended greetings to the Telangana people on the eve of the festival.
KCR said that Lord Rama was the most revered god for the Indians as he had sacrificed everything to protect dharma and adhere strictly to "Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha", and that Lord Rama and His wife Sita were role models to all generations for their sacrifices for the well-being of the society.
The Chief Minister said that the State government was conducting the annual Sri Sitarama Kalyana Mahotsavam on a grand scale in the Lord Sri Rama temple in Bhadrachalam this year too to celebrate the occasion.
KCR said that he prayed to Lord Rama and goddess Sita to shower their blessings on the people of the State and help them lead comfortable lives.
