Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today greeted the Muslims of Telangana on the occasion of Milad un Nabi, the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad.
The CM said that everyone should be inspired by the teachings of the Prophet, who aimed for the establishment of peace and the equality of all human beings.
He added that more efforts should be made to promote peace and harmony in the country.
Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan too extended greetings to the Muslims.
In a message, the Governor stated, "I extend my warm greetings on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad's noble teachings of compassion, tolerance, unity, harmony and universal brotherhood continue to inspire us all in working for the well-being of all. The most venerable Prophet's mission will be fulfilled when we serve our fellow men with faith, trust, care, kindness and compassion. May there be peace and prosperity all around. I request everyone to celebrate Milad-un-Nabi in its true spirit."
