CM, Governor Convey Vinayaka Chavithi Greetings
On the eve of Vinayaka Chavithi on September 18, Telangana's Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and CM K Chandrashekar Rao extended greetings to the people of the State.

On the eve of Vinayaka Chavithi (the festival is tomorrow, September 18), Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan extended greetings to all the people of the State.
The Governor said, "Devotees offer prayers to Lord Sri Ganesha to remove all hurdles and enable the success of their every endeavour. It is customary to offer initial prayers to Lord Vigneswara before starting any work, for its successful completion. I pray and wish that Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, will clear all the hurdles in our path to the unity, peace, progress and prosperity of our State and our nation. I cordially wish that the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations will bring health, prosperity, joy and happiness to you all."
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao too extended greetings to the people of the State.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said that Ganesh Chaturthi was a very sacred day for crores of Hindus who offered prayers to Lord Ganesha. "Vakratunda Mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabha, Nirvighnam Kurume Devah, Sarvekaaryeshu Sarvada" were the universal verses chanted in the country by people to remove the obstacles in their lives, he said.
Rao said that with the blessings of Lord Ganesha, Telangana had overcome many obstacles and was prospering in all sectors, and setting an example for others. He said that he was praying to the Lord to bless the State's government so that it may continue its development programs without interruption.
