Referring to the negative remarks made by Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan against the state government, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy termed them as personal suggestions made to the government.
He said that the Governor had made suggestions to the state government to improve the facilities and infrastructure for Covid-19 treatment at the government hospitals as well as enhance the testing for the coronavirus, and rued that the government had failed to take any action over the suggestions.
He also said that it would be good if the state government followed the suggestions made by the Governor.
He however said that the Governor's subsequent critical comments were not representative of the views of the union government, and said that the union government had good relationships with all the states of the country.
Reddy also said that the union government was fighting the deadly pandemic without being focused on any specific political parties.
