Telangana Government Unveils New SC Plan
Telangana Welfare Minister K Eshwar today unveiled a new SC Plan for 2020-21 which would benefit as many as 18,285 SC individuals.

Telangana Welfare Minister K Eshwar today unveiled a new SC Plan for 2020-21, aimed at empowering the SC community economically.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister urged the beneficiaries of the community to avail themselves of the benefits of the plan, being implemented at a cost of Rs 786.23 crore.
"Under the plan, the SC Corporation will offer Rs 500 crore towards SC development and empowerment. The funds allocated will help as many as 18,285 youth and eligible educated people in the SC community. The plan will help usher in a new era of growth for the community and the state, and I hope that the eligible individuals will make use of this scheme and develop themselves economically," he added.
Eshwar also outlined the various other steps being taken by the government for the welfare and the development of the SC community.
"The TRS government is committed to the development of the SCs in the state. Apart from the current schemes that are being implemented, the government will also introduce other schemes offering funds for development, and subsidies on amenities including land, water and power, to help the community," he said.
At the launch, the minister also distributed mobile tiffin van units to several beneficiaries from the Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts, and promised that the same benefit would be extended to other districts as well.
