Congress Announces Names Of Four Candidates For Lok Sabha

Some high-profile persons have been put on hold, including Challa Vamshi Chand Reddy for the Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seat.

The All-India Congress Committee (AICC) today announced the party's first list for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with four names from Telangana included.

The Congress' Central Election Committee, responsible for selecting candidates for the elections, cleared the names of Suresh Kumar Shetkar for the Zaheerabad constituency, Sunitha Mahender Reddy for Chevella, Raghuveer Reddy Kunduru for Nalgonda and Balram Naik Porika for Mahabubabad (reserved for STs).

According to a release issued by K C Venugopal, AICC General Secretary, the Congress announced the names of 36 candidates in the first list. Some high-profile persons have been put on hold, including Challa Vamshi Chand Reddy for the Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seat.
