The BJP leader and Union Home Minister said that the BJP was going to win more than 10 seats of the 17 seats in Telangana.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah today said that the BJP was going to win a majority of the Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala of South India in the upcoming elections.
He added that in Telangana, the BJP was going to win more than 10 of the 17 seats.
He said that INDIA was a Rs 12 lakh crore corruption alliance, and Modi's alliance on the other had had no corruption of even 25 paise.
"For the past 23 years, Modi's alliance celebrated Diwali without a holiday among our soldiers. In the last 10 years, we have made significant progress in the areas of internal security, economy, infrastructure development, digital India and start-ups," he claimed.
"In 2014 there was a revenue surplus in Telangana. However in the next 10 years the State has turned economically backward due to the ineptitude of the State governments. If undivided Andhra Pradesh got Rs 15,000 crore, today Telangana alone is getting Rs 60,000 crore as grant-in-aid. More funds have been received in the last ten years than from independence to 2014, which have been used for infrastructure, airports and national highways. Modi has given double the funds in these 10 years," Shah claimed.
He alleged that Telangana's politics had been corroded by corruption, irregularities and family politics. "And whoever is in power in Telangana - whether it is the BRS or the Congress - it is the Majlis party that runs it. The people who understand this situation will want to get the BJP as many seats as possible this time," he alleged.
Commenting on the 4% Muslim reservation in Telangana, he said that it was a violation of the rights of the SCs, the STs and the OBCs, and that when the BJP came to power in the State, Muslim reservations would be removed.
He also alleged that the Congress failed to implement its six guarantees in Telangana, an example being the the Rs 15,000 Rythu Bharosa financial assistance promise to the farmers. He said that the Congress leaders were merely collecting money in Telangana and sending it for elections across the country.
