Hyderabad | 3rd May 2024
The Congress' "Telangana National Manifesto" was released at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday.

All India Congress Committee (AICC) Telangana in-charge Deepadas Munsi released the party's manifesto titled Panch Nyay, with special promises to Telangana.

Minister Sridhar Babu, Chief Minister's Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, TPCC working president Mahesh Kumar Goud, MLA Danam Nagender, Manifesto Convenor Prof Janaiah, Congress leaders Azharuddin, Anjan Kumar Yadav, Chinna Reddy, Rohit Chaudhary, Rohin Reddy, Kodanda Reddy and Niranjan, and manifesto committee members and others participated in the program.

Speaking on the occasion, Munsi said that party leader Rahul Gandhi had undertaken his Bharat Jodo Yatra and travelled all over the country including Telangana, meeting all sections of the people, and the ideas for the manifesto were derived from his interactions with the people.

"Rahul Gandhi loved the people of Telangana. And PM Narendra Modi is afraid of Rahul Gandhi, as the people want to change the government at the Centre this time and make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister of the country," she added.

She also alleged that the BJP government was hatching conspiracies to change the Constitution, and was planning to abolish reservations for SCs, STs and BCs in the country.

The AICC leader added that five out of the promised six guarantees were being implemented in Telangana by the Congress government, and exuded confidence that the party would win 14 Lok Sabha seats in the State.
