Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today called on the party's Nizamabad MP D Arvind at Nandipeta of Nizamabad and inquired about his well-being.
Kumar visited the MP following the recent attack on the convoy of the MP allegedly by the ruling TRS activists.
Speaking to media persons later, Kumar alleged that the attack on the MP took place under the supervision of the district police themselves, and that that was borne out by the fact that the police had not even registered an FIR in the incident so far.
However the BJP's national president J P Nadda and the party's Telangana in-charge Tarun Chug had extended their support to the state unit after the attack, and the state unit was fully energized, he claimed.
He added that the BJP had roared in the city of Charminar itself, and that it was not scared of attacks like the one that took place at Armoor.
He claimed that the fact was that it was the CM that was scared of the BJP, and so the ruling party leaders were resorting to such attacks as they were worried about losing power in Telangana.
He asked KCR to control his party MLAs and ministers, and added that the BJP would not keep mum if it was provoked by the ruling party leaders.
He added that attacks were being carried out not just on BJP leaders but also on all those who are questioning the state government.
He also termed KCR the number one traitor of Telangana, and said that the people of the state were craving for a change.
He added that the BJP leaders and workers were ready to die for the sake of the people of the state, and asked KCR if he was ready to do the same for the people.
