Will Not Support Bandi Sanjay's Comments On Kavitha: D Arvind

Nizamabad MP and BJP leader D Arvind today said that he did not support the comments of the State party president against BRS MLC K Kavitha.

He said that whatever Sanjay had said regarding Kavitha were his personal comments, and also added that it would prudent for Sanjay to withdraw them.

He lamented that the comments made by Sanjay had become a weapon for the BRS leaders, and advised the party leaders to be cautious about what they said in their speeches. He said that the State BJP president post was not a power centre but meant to coordinate with all the party leaders.

Targeting the BRS leaders, he alleged that the entire State cabinet had camped in Delhi when Kavitha was being grilled by the officials of the ED in the Delhi liquor scam, and asked them to show the same amount of commitment towards solving the public problems in Telangana.

He also alleged that Kavitha was not extending her cooperation to the interrogation of the officials. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had committed himself to eradicating corruption from the country, and that the family members of the Kalvakuntla family were mired in corruption, making them natural targets. He added that MP Magunta's family and a big organisation like Aurobindo Pharma were also facing problems due to the faults of the Kalvakuntla family.
