Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Telangana Forum, on Monday, took a decision to donate 1 month salary of all MLAs to next kin of martyrs, who laid down their lives for the cause of Telangana.
Talking to media persons after chairing a meeting convened at TDP Legislature Party office, Telangana senior leader Nagam Janardhana Reddy said that the Telangana legislators had decided to give their 1 month salary to the next kin of martyrs' family members, who laid down their lives for the cause of Telangana.
Janardhana said that the forum also took a decision to stage agitation before the house of Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi on October 25th, seeking favour for Telangana state formation.
The senior TDP leader invited all political parties to extend their cooperation and coordination in that regard.
Janardhana also demanded that the government should make its stand clear on 42% quota for people of Telangana in the recruitments being conducted by Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission.
Janardhan Reddy said that he would meet Chief Minister K Rosaiah that evening over the recruitments in Judiciary.
The TDP leader said that he would urge CM to implement 42% quota for recruitments in Judiciary to Telangana people.
It is so clear to me! Let Telangana be a separate state, and the followers of the Religion of Peace will be gone! That's what we want in India, isn't it? Adilabad, Mehboob.. etc., who wants them? Such a shame for the first state to have a capital like H., which is named after a Religion of Peace!
