Rubbishing the claims of some Telangana TDP leaders about the Party still having power and support in Telangana, IT Minister K T Rama Rao today stated that the Party did not exist in the State, in power or on paper, after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu shifted base to Vijayawada.
Participating in development programs at Palvancha in the Khammam district along with Roads & Buildings Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao, KTR exuded confidence that the TDP had been wiped out of Telangana. He also claimed Naidu had no voting rights in Hyderabad as the latter ought to govern Andhra Pradesh from Vijayawada or Velagapudi.
The minister took serious exception to the TDP leaders from Telangana for enacting dramas in the name of Palle Nidra in villages.
"There is no way that the Party still exists because the people of Telangana know about the horrible conditions in which Naidu left the State. The TRS is trying to fix the problems created by the TDP. People's support will remain with our Party," Rao said.
