Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of causing obstacles in the bifurcation of the High Court.
Speaking to media persons on Sunday, KTR alleged that the AP Chief Minister had been pressuring the Centre to stall the bifurcation of the High Court.
He claimed that the Telangana government had written letters to the Centre on multiple occasions, and that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been requested thrice to expedite the division of the High Court. However, Naidu had been using different tactics to stall the bifurcation process, he alleged.
KTR said that the Telangana government was ready to abide by any conditions of the Supreme Court to ensure the bifurcation of the High Court.
He lamented that it was wrong to delay the division of the High Court when all other departments had already been bifurcated. (INN)
