Will Quit Politics If TRS Loses Elections: KTR
The TRS leader threw a challenge to leaders of other parties to similarly offer to quit politics if they failed to win the December Telangana elections.

Telangana caretaker Minister and top TRS leader K T Rama Rao today declared that he would renounce politics if the TRS failed to retain power in the upcoming Assembly polls.
Addressing a meet-the-press program at the Somajiguda Press Club, the minister made the daring statement, and threw a challenge to leaders of other political parties to similarly offer to quit politics if they failed to win the Assembly elections.
"Will the leaders of the Makakootami dare to offer the same?" he asked.
KTR also accused TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of relying on others to shine in politics.
KTR called the TDP's alliance with its arch rival the Congress unholy, and sought to know why Naidu was meddling in Telangana issues. The reason behind Naidu "putting funds into the Telangana Assembly elections" was to conspire against the progress of the new state, he alleged.
"Chandrababu Naidu is an opportunistic politician, and may even join hands with Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for political gains," he claimed.
KTR also slammed Telangana Congress chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy for making false promises which would require the budget of five states to fulfill.
Painting a rosy picture in the four and half years of the TRS' rule, KTR tried to counter criticism of the party's unkept promises by saying that within the short span of time or overnight a world class state could not be built. The TRS regime has taken up Kaleshwaram as a prestigious project and engineers were surprised at its speedy completion, he claimed.
KTR denied comments that the TRS regime had developed north Telangana and did not give similar priority to south Telangana, including Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and other districts.
"As far as my knowledge goes, no political analyst has made comments claiming any partisan attitude by the government, which has taken up development works based only on requirements," he said.
