Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday held discussions with leaders of Left parties, Janata Dal (S), Rashtriya Janata Dal and Anna DMK in New Delhi, and sought their support to corner the Congress-led UPA government over the 2G spectrum scam.
Continuing his tirade against the ruling party which he had started at the time the CAG report came out, the former chief minister on Tuesday demanded Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the scam.
Naidu said that the UPA government had lost the moral right to continue in office at the centre.
The TDP leader alleged that the extent of corruption during the UPA government's reign had risen to levels never witnessed in the past.
Holding AICC president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh responsible for the scam, Naidu asked Dr. Singh to submit his resignation. The TDP chief also demanded that the government order probes into Adarsh Housing scam, Commonwealth games and illegal mining.
The TDP leader said that all opposition parties should mount pressure on the centre to order a JPC probe in the 2G spectrum issue. Naidu also discussed the strategy to be adopted on dealing with like-minded parties over 2G spectrum scam issue.
