The number of BRS supporters protesting the arrest of TDP president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is gradually increasing.

On Sunday, Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao condemned the arrest of Naidu.

Errabelli said that political vendetta and vengeance were not good for democracy, and that it was a bad practice to arrest and imprison opposition leaders without reason.

Chandrababu Naidu was arrested on September 10 in connection with the skill development scam that the Andhra Pradesh CID is investigating, and has since then been in judicial custody at the Rajahmundry central jail.
