TDP floor leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Friday advised the Telangana Government to avoid confrontations with the Centre and the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh Government.
Speaking on the Appropriation Bill 2014-15 in the State Legislative Assembly, Errabelli said that the confrontations would not serve any purpose, and instead, would hurt the development process of Telangana.
Being the Chief Minister of a new State, K Chandrashekar Rao should maintain friendly relationships with everyone, including the Opposition Parties in the State, Errabelli advised.
Errabelli blamed the State Government for the farmers' suicides, and said that no assurances had been given to prevent farmers from resorting to the extreme step.
He also accused the Government of having failed to address other sections of the society, and of wrongly projecting the TDP as anti-Telangana. (INN)
