As the government had failed to check the suicides and address the drought problems, the TDP would also take up State-wide protests soon, the party said.

The Telugu Desam Party's Telangana leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Revanth Reddy and Peddi Reddy today accused the Telangana government of insulting the farmers by neglecting their plight that was leading to suicides by several of them.
Speaking to reporters at the Secretariat, they alleged that the government was least bothered about the farmers' issues.
The TDP leaders also alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had converted Telangana into a State of suicides instead of a golden one.
Also, while there about 1,300 suicides by farmers so far in the State, the government was pegging the figure at only 409, they fumed.
Four to eight suicides were being reported each day, and Telangana had earned the dubious distinction of being the state with the second-highest number of suicides at the national level according to a survey. Despite these fatalities, the government is still adamant and yet to send drought-related reports to the Centre, they said.
They also found fault with the government for its version on Limbaiah's suicide near Tank Bund - that it was due to ill-health.
"We will meet the Union Agriculture Minister Radhamohan Singh for necessary help," they said.
As the government had failed to check the suicides and address the drought problems, the TDP would also take up State-wide protests soon, they said.
The TDP leaders also called on the Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma and appealed to him to take steps to prevent suicides, and to reach out to the Centre for immediate succour from drought and immediate financial help.
