Telangana TDP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao today said that the TRS government had no moral right to talk about media freedom.
Speaking to the media at NTR Trust Bhavan on Saturday, Errabelli asked why KCR was making a hue and cry about notices being served on his T-News channel.
"This channel had lost its credibility the moment it started working from Telangana Bhavan," he alleged, and demanded that T-News reveal the source of its telecast of the audio tape that it claimed had the voice of Chandrababu Naidu.
Recalling the remarks of KCR against the media and the stoppage of the telecast of ABN Andhra Jyothi and TV9 by the KCR government in Telangana, Errabelli said that KCR had no moral right to talk about media freedom.
Errabelli also announced that his party would organize dharnas in every constituency highlighting the failures of the TRS government during its one-year rule, and the luring of MLAs from other parties by KCR into the TRS. (NSS)
