Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao told the Assembly on Thursday that the soon-to-be-started T-Hub 2 would be the world's largest technology incubator.
Responding to a question on the subject in the House, KTR said that tremendous success had been achieved through T-Hub in promoting startups. The incubator had entered into partnerships with 25 corporate houses, 10 of which had already achieved recognition internationally, he added.
Regarding the demand from members for starting IT parks in Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar, Khammam and other places, the minister said that the government would consider the proposals.
He also said that the state government would spare no efforts in extending assistance to the handloom weavers in the state. The state government had allocated Rs 1,270 crores for the handloom sector, and efforts were on to provide the needed succour to the weavers, he said. After a mega textile park in Warangal, steps were now being taken to set up a handloom park in Gadwal, KTR said.
