Governor Offers Prayers At Nandigama
Governor E S L Narasimhan participated in the Seeta Rama Kalyana Mahotsavam on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami, at Old Market in Nandigama, Krishna district.
Governor E S L Narasimhan on Tuesday participated in the Seeta Rama Kalyana Mahotsavam at the Old Market in Nandigama in the Krishna district, to conclude his 3-day visit to the Krishna and Guntur districts.
The Governor participated in the Kalyana Mahotsavam along with his wife Vimala Narasimhan, and presented silk clothes and Muthyala Talambralu on behalf of the state government to Lord Sri Rama and Seeta Devi.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Governor and his wife performed special pujas at the Lord Lakshmi Narasimha temple at Muktyala, Jaggaiahpeta mandal.
The temple officials accorded a traditional welcome to the Governor and his wife. The police had made special arrangements to maintain security in view of the Governor's visit to the temple.
After their trip to the Krishna and Guntur districts, the Governor proceeded to Hyderabad in a special flight from the Gannavaram airport.
During his visit, Narasimhan interacted with artisans at Kondapalli, and visited the historic Kondapalli Qila on Sunday.
The governor attended the convocation of the Dr. NTR University Of Health Sciences at Tummalapalli Kshetrayya Kalakshetram. He addressed the principals and management staff, of private medical and dental colleges, at a meeting arranged by the university. (INN)
