Former minister and senior TDP leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu made severe allegations against TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on the occasion of TDP founder-president late NTR's 95th birth anniversary today.
Paying floral tributes to NTR at his samadhi, Motkupalli alleged that some petty leaders were plotting to make him (Motkupalli) leave the party.
He also alleged that Naidu had failed to stick to his word and forgot about him (Motkupalli) after winning and becoming CM. He said that he had protected Naidu when Telangana activists had tried to attack him, but that the TDP boss had no moral values, and sold Rajya Sabha tickets to multi-millionaires.
Naidu's ethics were clear from how he dealt with his own father-in-law, Motkupalli said. Several poor people had entered politics due to NTR who had launched the TDP with lofty goals, but Naidu dethroned the leader by hatching a conspiracy and caused his death, Motkupalli alleged. Naidu then kept his co-brother-in-law Daggubati Venkateswara Rao and the latter's wife with him till he became the Chief Minister, and hatched a conspiracy against them, too, later. He also sent Harikrishna out from the party, Motkupalli said.
The TDP leader also alleged that Naidu had tried to hatch a conspiracy against Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao just like he did against NTR, but was caught red-handed in broad daylight this time. He said that both Naidu and Revanth Reddy were culprits in the infamous vote-for-note case.
Naidu had also created differences between the Malas and the Madigas, and was now trying to create differences between the BCs and Kapus in Andhra Pradesh, Motkupalli alleged. He had also created differences among the brahmins, and his cunning made him a big threat to the society, Motkupalli said.
Motkupalli also said that Naidu took a U-turn with regard to special status for Andhra Pradesh, and that the people were ready to bury him. Describing Jagan and Pawan Kalyan as real heroes who floated their own political parties, he appealed to the Andhra Pradesh people to defeat Naidu in the coming elections by voting in one of those two into power.
Motkupalli opined that if the TDP wanted to have a good future in Telangana, it needed to forge an alliance with the TRS. The TDP leaders also needed to get Naidu to resign from the post of the President of the party and hand over the party to the Nandamuri family. Junior NTR was most suitable person for the responsibility, he added.
