Senior Congress, TDP Leaders Of Telangana Join BJP
Senior TDP leaders including E Peddi Reddy, Boda Janardhan and Chada Suresh Reddy, and former Congress MLA Shashidhar Reddy and Rahmatullah joined the BJP today.
BJP Telangana president Dr K Laxman on Thursday said that his party would emerge as reckoning force in Telangana in the upcoming days.
He made these remarks after some TDP and Congress leaders joined the BJP in the presence of BJP national general secretary Muralidhar Rao.
Senior TDP leaders including E Peddi Reddy, Boda Janardhan and Chada Suresh Reddy, and former Congress MLA Shashidhar Reddy and Rahmatullah joined the BJP in New Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Laxman termed the joining of the TDP and the Congress leaders as a "trailor", and said that there would be a lot more shifts into the BJP in the coming days.
He also alleged that KCR was wasting public money through the construction of new Secretariat and Assembly building complexes. He claimed that the two complexes were being constructed to help private contractors make money.
