South Central Railway (SCR) from Wednesday, has operationalised a '24x7 Catering Help Line' to receive catering related complaints/suggestions.
This facility would function from Central Control of South Central Railway located in Rail Nilayam and will be manned round the clock by staff drawn from Commercial Department.
Passengers can text their complaints and suggestions related to catering services rendered at stations on South Central Railway and also on trains running on South Central Railway system on mobile No. 97013-70964 or they can report on 040-27834044 or 97013-70964.
The staff manning the above catering help line will take necessary action immediately, in case of complaints requiring immediate action and report compliance to the extent feasible.
In case of complaints requiring longer time to take action or suggestions related to catering services, the ‘Help Centre’ will pass on the details to the concerned officials and also the caterers for necessary action, and action taken will be advised subsequently.
