School For Blind's Students Allege Harrassment

Alleging sexual harassment, 4 students of Space School For The Blind, Hanamkonda, Warangal, filed a complaint against the Pricipal's husband, Bhaskar.

Bhaskar, a government employee, had reportedly been visiting the NGO-supported school run by his wife, Shobha, quite frequently for the past year. The complainants, who include 4 young girls under the age of 16, allege that Bhaskar had had the habit of tounching them inappropriately while there. They said that he would single a girl out, take her into the staff room with him, and touch her inappropriately. Then, he would threaten them to keep quiet, said the students.

The girls also claimed that they had complained to the Principal, but that their complaints had been to no avail.

The local police, who filed a case against Bhaskar, have currently taken him under arrest, and are currently interrogating him.
