The YSR Congress Party received another blow in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh with a former MLA and senior leader of the party joining the ruling TDP.
Satrucharla Chandrasekhar Raju, who played a major role in the YSRCP right from the inception of the party, today joined the TDP in the presence of Nara Lokesh, minister and son of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Former union minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju was among other leaders present on the occasion.
Chandrasekhar Raju was the first leader to extend support to Jagan when he floated the YSR Congress.
