RTC’s employees’ union – the National Mazdoor Union (NMU) of the APSRTC – concluded its talks last night, as the management has agreed to hike employees’ wages by 24%. The union called off its strike, even as the JAC pressed on continuing the indefinite strike.
There were 2 rounds of talks stretching to 3 hours each yesterday. The NMU was represented by its president M Nageswara Rao and general secretary Syed Mehmood, and the management by the executive director B S R Murthy and financial advisor Anjaneyulu.
