Singareni Insurance Model For Nation: Bhatti
The Telangana Deputy CM handed over an insurance cheque of Rs 1.20 crore to the family of a Singareni employee who recently lost his life in an accident.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu today handed over an accident insurance cheque of Rs 1.20 crore to the family of a Singareni employee who recently lost his life in an accident.
The Deputy CM presented the cheque as a payment warranted under the free accident insurance scheme being implemented in Singareni on the directions of the State government.
Vikramarka handed over the cheque to Latha, the wife of the deceased worker Pendri Ranjith Kumar who was employed as a support man in the Ramagundam-1 Area of Singareni, at an event that took place at the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan.
He also said that compassionate appointment papers would be provided soon to the deceased worker's family.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy CM said that the Rs 1.2 crore accident insurance scheme being implemented in Singareni was launched to provide financial security to the families of workers in the event of unforeseen accidents, ensuring that they did not fall into distress. He said that the scheme needed to serve as a model not just for public sector undertakings but for all States across the country.
