RTC MD SSP Yadav Under Fire

CM demands explanation for fare hike, comments against CM; Diwakar Reddy demands disciplinary action against the MD

AP’s CM Rosaiah has sought an explanation from the Managing Director of RTC, SSP Yadav, for the steep hike in bus fares, for his alleged statements against CM, and going off to Agra. The decision to hike prices was taken without even taking the government’s permission. An enquiry committee was instated for the purpose.

In response, Yadav, in Delhi, bristled at the press and among a bunch of phrases, said that the price hike was justified. He said there was no need of him to explain anything to anyone, that he did not make any statements against the CM, and that his trip to Agra was personal. He said he is a government servant and that we will go wherever he wants to go.

J C Diwakar Reddy has asked for disciplinary action against Yadav.
