Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today laid the foundation stones for various development projects worth Rs 192 crore in the Medak district.
He laid the stones after visiting the Yedupayala Vanadurga Bhavani temple in Nagasanpalli village, Papannapet mandal.
Ministers Konda Surekha, Damodar Raja Narasimha and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, MP Suresh Shetkar, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, MLAs and other leaders were present in the event.
Reddy laid the foundation stones for the following projects among others:
- Road connecting various tribal villages in the Medak constituency: Rs 52.76 crore - Construction of Young India Integrated Residential School complex and Indira Mahila Shakti Bhavan: Rs 5 crore - Road widening, divider construction and installation of high-mast lights at Edupayala: Rs 35 crore - Development works at the famous Medak church: Rs 29 crore
The Chief Minister also handed over a cheque for Rs 100 crore to the women's SHGs in the constituency.
Later, he participated in Christmas celebrations and the centenary celebrations of the Medak church.
