Revanth Reddy Lampoons KCR For Not Attending Assembly
The Telangana CM had some pretty snarky comments to make about KCR's absence from the ongoing budget session.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today criticised former chief minister and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly K Chandrashekar Rao for not attending the Assembly's ongoing budget sessions.
Addressing the discussion on the motion of thanks for the Governor's speech, Reddy said that it would have been great if KCR attended the Assembly session.
"Unfortunately, the Opposition leader did not come to the Assembly today. KCR is a genius who has read over 80,000 books. We thought that he would give good suggestions for the development of Telangana. It isn't not good for the opposition leader's seat to be empty like this," Reddy said snarkily.
The CM also said that decisions were made during the BRS government in a very flawed manner, and that the Congress government was correcting all those mistakes.
He also slammed the BRS leaders for criticising the Congress government despite it not completing even two months in power.
"The previous BRS government plunged the State into debt and bankrupted it. However, despite the blunders done by it, we are giving salaries to the employees on the first," Reddy said.
Finding fault with the BRS for repeatedly talking about delays in Rythu Bandhu payments, the Chief Minister claimed that Rythu Bandhu payments were made to the farmers in 2018-19 five months after the crop season had started. The payments were similarly delayed by nine months in 2019-20 and by four months in 2021-22, he said.
