Revanth Reddy Arrest: Etela Wants Naidu Probed
Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajender demanded legal action against AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for the TDP's attempt to bribe MLA Elvis Stephenson.

Launching a scathing attack on TDP supremo and AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for allegedly pressing Revanth Reddy to offer a huge amount to nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson to vote for the Telugu Desam Party in the MLC elections, Finance Minister Etela Rajender today demanded that legal action be initiated against the former for hatching a conspiracy.
Addressing the media along with Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy at the Secretariat, Rajender said that Revanth Reddy should be stripped of the MLA post for his arrest by ACB sleuths while offering Rs 50 lakhs to Elvis Stephenson.
With Reddy's arrest, it was proved that the Telugu Desam was a brokers' party, and that its chief was orchestrating dirty politics in Telangana using corrupt money from Andhra Pradesh, Rajender alleged.
Rajender alleged that the Telugu Desam Party was known for selling political posts, and that it was already exposed that Naidu had done so by taking Rs 30 crores from Sujana Chowdhary and C M Ramesh.
The people of both the Telugu States were keenly watching the nefarious activities of Chandrababu Naidu, he charged.
The Finance Minister also sought a thorough investigation into the entire episode in which Naidu reportedly spoke with the nominated MLA Stephenson.
Rajender also accused Naidu of getting envious as KCR's government was making rapid strides in all sectors.
The Telangana leaders would not keep quiet if Naidu failed to mend his ways, he warned. (NSS)
