Hyderabad | 1st June 2015
Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had indulged in corruption amounting to Rs 200 crores in the name of the MLC elections, the Telangana TDP demanded that the government order a CBI inquiry into the scandal.

Alleging that KCR was the brain behind A Revanth Reddy's arrest episode, the T-TDP demanded that the Chief Minister be booked as the principal accused in the case of the bribe offer to the nominated MLA.

Speaking to the media at his residence in New MLA Quarters on Monday, the TDP floor leader in the Telangana Legislative Assembly Errabelli Dayakar Rao alleged that the Chief Minister had spent over Rs 200 crores to woo his own unhappy MLAs and those of other political parties.

Errabelli questioned KCR how he could field five candidates in the MLC elections when his party had the strength to win only three MLC posts.

"Doesn't it smack of intended corruption?" he asked.

He also asked KCR how the YSR Congress MLAs, who were against the formation of Telangana State, would cast their votes without any benefit.

Also, how would the MIM, also an anti-Telangana party, cast votes without taking any bribe, he asked.

Errabelli said T-TDP MLAs Challa Dharma Reddy joined the TRS only after getting a Rs 250 crore contract agreement. Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, who was in neck-deep debts, joined the TRS as he wanted to come out of the problem. Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao, who was also facing financial troubles, joined the ruling party only after he was assured of financial help from KCR, Errabelli alleged.

He also accused KCR of having purchased Congress and YSRCP MLAs with money, and of offering a minister post to BSP MLA Indrakaran Reddy and money to the other BSP MLA Konappa.

Stating that he thought good things would happen in the Telangana region if it was made a separate State, Errabelli alleged that he didn't expect that such an atrocious person would become the Chief Minister of the state.

Alleging that KCR gave top priority to betrayers of the Telangana cause, Errabelli questioned KCR on whether Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Tummala Nageshwar Rao and Kadiam Srihari had ever paid tributes to the Telangana martyrs.

He also said that the MLC candidates of the TRS had also never participated in the Telangana movement.

Wondering if KCR had any ethics, Errabelli asked him how the TRS entered into an alliance with the YSR Congress, which was the reason for the the Mahabubabad firing incident, for the MLC elections.

"There is no limit to KCR's corruption. And what mistake did Revanth Reddy commit?" he questioned. He said that Revanth Reddy went to Stephenson's residence only upon Stephenson's invitation.

"Stephenson said that he would cast his vote for the TDP candidate, and only then did Revanth approach Stephenson," Errabelli said.

Asking the Chief Minister how he had informed his MLAs at a TRS MLAs meeting on Sunday that a breaking news would happen within an hour, Errabelli alleged that the Revanth Reddy issue was KCR's "Master Plan".

Reminding the listeners that the Chief Minister and the TRS leaders had threatened Revanth Reddy that they would take up "Operation Blue Star" if the latter failed to mend his ways, Errabelli alleged that KCR had made Revanth Reddy fall in his trap as part of that operation.

Asking KCR how many crores of rupees he gave Madhavaram Krishna Rao, Errabelli said that Revanth Reddy was fighting against corruption.

He said that KCR would experience the same fate as former Chief Minister YSR, who had harassed the TDP a lot, and his son.

Demanding that the Chief Minister release Revanth Reddy unconditionally, Errabelli alleged that the TRS had influenced the ACB in this episode.

He said that he would release the numbers of the TRS leaders who had spoken with him to have TDP MLAs cast their votes for the TRS MLC candidates, on Tuesday.

He exuded confidence that the TDP candidate would win the MLC election if the TDP MLAs cast their votes for him. (NSS)
