Revanth Reddy Announces Adoption Of Adilabad District

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today announced that he would adopt Adilabad district, and develop it in every sphere in the days to come.

Addressing the Jana Jatara Sabha at Nirmal where Rahul Gandhi was also present, the Chief Minister said that Adilabad was his favorite district, and that he would take responsibility of developing it on all fronts.

"The Congress government takes the responsibility of reopening the CCI industry in Adilabad, and of speeding up all the development works in the district," the Chief Minister said.

"In the past, the ticket for the Adilabad Lok Sabha seat was never offered to a woman candidate. For the first time, the Congress has given the party ticket to a tribal woman, Athram Suguna from Adilabad. The people should extend their support to the tribal woman and send her to Parliament," Reddy said.

He also said that the money under the Rythu Bharosa scheme would be deposited into the accounts of the farmers by May 9, and that the Congress government in Telangana would also waive off farm loans of upto Rs 2 lakh by August 15.

"We have already implemented five of the six guarantees promised in the Assembly elections. The rest of promises will also be met as early as possible," Reddy said.
